Welcome to The Mindful Manager, a place for those who share a passion for helping people thrive both personally and professionally.

A place to nourish a deep curiosity, that desire to better understand ourselves, others, and the world in which we exist.

A place to share thoughts and research on a variety of themes including positive psychology, authentic leadership, resilience, wellbeing, and mindfulness; to offer insight into the human condition and equip us to become better people and better leaders.

You will find a lot more that inspires me on my socials – Facebook and Twitter – so follow me there for more interesting stuff.

About Me

Like most of us, I wear lots of hats – husband, father, son, brother, friend. Workwise, I’m not much one for titles. Having garnered the benefit of some amazing cross functional roles in both public and private companies across a variety of industries – particularly those undergoing change – I consider myself a generalist. And whilst my achievements include scaling private businesses to sale, and strategic blue-chip company transformations, the most rewarding aspect of my career has been the opportunity to contribute towards the personal and professional growth of so many.

Throughout my life I’ve gravitated towards leadership positions, not because I sought them, but because they sought me. I seemed to have a knack of naturally aligning people, nurturing teams and getting results whilst having fun.

I have always taken the responsibility of leadership very seriously, and it aligns perfectly with my passion for helping people (and organisations) realise their potential. To this end I’ve continued to learn and search for the latest research on all aspects of people and performance, in order to better myself, and better serve as an positive and inclusive leader.

My desire to share this saw the beginning of The Mindful Manager.
